Sam is a Boulder, CO-based photographer and mechanical engineer. He began playing ultimate in 2006, and since 2015 has played with Denver Inception. When he got his first DSLR in 2016, it was only natural that he point it at his favorite sport. Sam covered his first games for UltiPhotos in late 2018, and in 2019 he leapt at opportunities to cover tournaments like Masters Nationals, Pro Champs, and Club Nationals.
Sam lives with his partner and their dog in Boulder, Colorado.
